IMG_2995As per Directives of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Government of India, Bank of Baroda has observed Vigilance Awareness week from 30.10.2017 to 04.11.2017 across all its offices.  Bank’s Corporate Office at BKC, Mumbai, also conducted several activities to spread out the message of GOI to fight against corruption amongst their employees and to follow of ethics, morale, transparency and integrity in their working.

In the beginning of week on 30.10.2017, Executive Director of the Bank, Shri Mayank K Mehta, administered integrity Pledge to all employees of bank at Corporate Office.  Executive Director Sri A.K. Garg and Smt. Papia Sen Gupta read out the messages received from Hon’ble President of India and Hon’ble Vice President of India respectively. Sri S.K. Chaudhary, General Manager (HRM) read out the message received from Central Vigilance Commission.

On 31.10.2017 a play was performed by CSRBRD group on the theme “My Vision Corruption free India” at Corporate Office of Bank and similar type of street play were performed at various prominent places of Mumbai including at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.

Further to enhance the overall awareness amongst employees, Bank arranged a special lecture on 01.11.2017 at  Corporate Office, BKC, Mumbai by Shri P. Sharath Kumar, CA & Certified Fraud Examiner, on the subject “Current Trends in Corporate Frauds & Manipulation of Financial Statements / Red Flag of Manipulations”
